Start my lesson

I am planning to contact my drumming coach to teach me drumming and lessons will be held on Wednesday. Right now i have to get a better time management to deal between my studies and drumming.

When i was listening to some songs, i recalled what the Indian master actually told be during the fortune telling. This is what he told me:

1.Your studies will be smooth if you continue to work hard. : TRUE

Right now the course which i am dealing with is Business Computing. It is true that my second year is going to be different as i am studying IT. I have no basic knowledge of computing and have to start from scratch. This means that i have to strive like 3 times harder than other people.

2. Whatever that you will do after graduate is something which is way off different compared to other people. : TRUE

I always wanted to be different! but.. i am still not sure of my career yet. =] As you can see, my wishlist has different variations of accomplishments.Thus, it is quite hard to fufil them all. I will still try my best. =]

3. Sometimes what your father does, the distance between you and your father will fell apart: TRUE

My father is a very serious person especially dealing with business and i really do not like the way he talk to me when i am handling some issues. Once my dad told me," if there is no internet connection at the shop, there is no need to open business anymore." I was actually quite pissed because i am not even responsible to deal with that stupid internet connection. I tried my best to fix it even though i dont even know a damn thing about computor. After he said that, i slamed a pile of paper on the table and backfaced him. ( i remembered i post this before) . But...in the end he started to make me laugh. I cannot hold back my anger forever because he is still my beloved dad after all and he bought me a drumset. =]

4.Two guys wil come into my life and make a difference in my life. : hmm. Quite true.

I found one person who helped me ever since i am always in doubt understanding IT. The person will be Jason Tan. I was actually thinking of taking up and job and then he asked whether i want to help his sister. So yeah! Sometimes it is hard to believe it.

But i havent found the another GUY. Well, we'll wait and see. hehe. I actually have a person in mind, but not confirmed yet.

5.I will be reborn into a human after i die. : i hope it is true.

My told my dad about it. he said,"aiya, being human is very complicated.it is better to be a bird who can fly around". My reaction is," LOL'. I do not dare to speak back to my dad so i decided to post it in the blog. The main reason my dad say this is because he met all kinds of people and he knows what is going to happen if something is wrong. But for me, i believe that being human is good because you can be able to change the world with such little actions. God created humans and humans created God becaue of thier strong belief. And what i believe in is God has created me to be born in this world to help thousands or millions of unfortunate people. Regardless in whatever religion we are from, the same concept lies behind. We are blessed and should treasure our own lives. Even though there is no such thing as 100% peace in this world, it is the reality that we should faced and live the best. I do not care where i am going to go after i die.The most important thing is do not be afraid to fail because it is part of your learning journey. Because it is already over. This is something which everyone should think about. " What can i do to live the best i can?"=] I have thought about what i am going to do. =]

New Author, New life.

Yesterday after school, Amy and i decided to go to the libarary to read some books. I thought that she is going to read some novel and i wanted to introduce some very good authors to her. But.. in the end, she went the cooking section. =_= and she borrowed a chinese novel. Quite touching though, she told me that the book is about Mother and Daughter.

Okay, so i looked around at the novels and i spotted this author, Nagub Mahfouz. He is a very famous literature and had won a Nobel Prize on 1988. Yes( one year before i was born). This book which i borrowed is titled,'Palace Walk' It is about a sweeping and evocative portrait of both family and a country struggling to move towards independence in society that has resisted change for centuries.

I have read the first chapter and i find it very emotional. The way he decribed a woman can fill in the whole chapter about her tragic life when she was forced to get married at the age of 14.

Well, my faciliator has arrived at the class and i am going to update more about the book and also myself. it is just that i am too tired yesterday. =]

Movie shooting

Movie shooting is very tiring but FUN.

During the break time, Jovin and i started to talk about drums and he bought a very cool magazine."Rhythm". Compared to DRUMS!, it has many notes and Steve Smith is on the page!


Thats me with the DRUMS. XD we were very very tired and i slept on the toms.

Reflections: The movie shoot took about 13 hours to complete and it is a wrap! Jovin told me that he is an average drummer. But when he play, i feel so cheated. Ay, you are good, okay? He also taught me some tips on learning the beats and polishing the drums the right way. We also got chat about him when i was fliping his magazine. LOL.

Me: Ay, do you know that when Jason is looking at the notes, he will say out the rhythm to himself?

J: haha yah yah. then after that, he will start to play the drums already.

LOL. Seee, we will never leave out drummers we know. (touch or not?)

Not going Home.

I woke up at 5.30am this morning and reached school at 7.30am. I was thinking about coffee ever since i stepped into the school. So i went to the canteen and bought a cup of coffee..taking my own sweet time walking towards my class. This is the best moment about not rushing. Because i dislike being rushy. However, i was quite surprised that one of my classmates Boon Siang arrved earlier than me. LOL. He was watching WWE! King of the ROUNDS! It reminded me when i was really into WWE when i have the wide amount of time to watch with my Dad.

Now my Dad is really busy till he has no time to watch TV, let alone advertisements and I am schooling and dealing with my actvities. Even for family day, we didnt talk much. This isn't the kind of life i want. Before i was about to speak to him, he went up to his room. Previous morning, my mum was commenting about me using a very sacarstic way. This is what i said to her," i am already used to people criticising me in school. Let alone my own family members."
I sounded rude, I do not care about other people but i cannot tolerate my own family members giving me this kind of attitude. My Mum then realised that she is stressing me(which is the fact), so she started to encourage me in a good way. lol.

Today after school, i have to meet the person-in-charge in VOUGE IG. The IG is about learning make-up, modelling, hair styling, bla bla bla. All those girls stuffs. I hope that they will recognised me because the picture which i sent them is one of my modelling pics. =X. Then after meeting them and give them my information, i am going to EUNOS to meet HUI LI for the movie rehearsal and shooting. If Friday i can be able to reach sch on time, then i will just come to school. If not, TAH DUH! i will be at home snoozing. =]

My module for today is JAVA!. Since the previous lessons, my facilitator always comment me to speak up more. Aint my talkative enough?LOL. OKie. i will speak up more. lol.

Move shooting and Rehearsal.

Michael called me and asked," Ay Model, Want to act in movie?" He gave me the person's number and i decided to give it a trial. I called her up and she told me some of the details. One of the disadvantages is i am not going to attend lesson on Friday. Because the shooting is from 24th evening to 25th(friday)8.30am. I have to stay overnight there. My job is to act as the drummer of the band performance( in fact, i am a drummer. lol)

So..no school on friday!! If can take pics, i will post. =]

LOVES

I love Wednesdays

Today i did not attend class. I was trapped in the traffic jam for a long time and i slept like nobody's business in the bus. So guess what i have been doing all day. Slacking?Wasting my time? NOPE NOPE. People might say that i am lying. I practiced java for the whole day with Jason through online. lol. I sounded Crazy but effort is definetely need to be put inside to get good results. Even though i cannot be able to view the problem statement from Amy, i borrowed a book which includes introduction to Java Basics. And it is very very useful. Java really needs a lot of practice, especially for slow learners like me. =]

I have attended the PP writing workshop and it was actually quite boring to be honest. But Emily is very sweet, she gave me the notes for PP writing report. Thank you XD

When i was on the way home in the bus. Guess what i am doing? YES..Java. Jason gave me a task. And i did it with the use of the book when i get home. I have also tried more conditions and learned more.

Tomorrow i will be relaxing! XD

Drumming Starts now.

I have moved my drums to my room due to the damage of the air condition remote control. I admit that i cannot be able to play in a humid room even if the fan is blowing towards my face. ( i am too pampered, happy ?) lol. Really, for anyone else out there, is also going to be the same. =X

OKIE. Here it goes.


TAH DUH!. Even my dog cannot squeeze in. LOL. My dad came in and then he asked," Why you always like to change Feng Shui( fortune) in your room?" haha. I love moving things around, because i always like changes. My room can never been squeeeky clean and neat. Because it is impossible. HAHA.See..When i wake up, i can greet my drums. ( sounds like a loner with no friends).WEE~
When i came back home, i can just plug in my ear phone and play the drums!!


Jason Tan taught me something about photography.If you want the pics to look good, never stay in your comfortable position. So..i laid down and took the picture.Hmm. i am very satisfied. LOL. Thank you Jason!! Here goes your name again!. haha.


These look good too. My coach once told me," small drumsets with many cymbols will look awesome. So i spend most of my money on cymbols until i only got like a few bucks in my account. Okie..it is worth it. And i have stopped shopping for instruments and plan to save up all over again.


These is where i am going to put my drumsticks. I have 3 pairs. =] and they were all located behind my drumset. very convinient.

I love love my drumset. I have bought new drum magazine. Drummers, be jealous. And grab it!
I learned a quote from the magazine.
" The drumkit will be useless without me. Without the drumkit, i will be useless"
This definetely applies to all drummers. =]

Once my jamming studio is done with the painting, deco, soundproof, my drums will be moved back .

Commitment priority

This week i have been misleading in ups and downs. I am glad that my friends are still there for me and support me.I think that it is time for me to sit down and think about what i really want in my life. No matter what, it is still going to be Drumming.Since my Year 2 started, my life seemed to be interuppted; political issues starting to rise up, relationship with my family started to become drifted away, and also trying my best to hit my own expectations in studies. I think i have expected too much in my life. However, this is what everyone is going to face one day. Problems which do not affect me, i will choose to ignore. Quoted," i cannot change the person, but i can be able to change myself". But this will not be able to apply to my personality. I am not changing just to meet other's requirements. I want to change to become a better person for myself, not anyone else.

I am a responsible person and never disrespect anyone in my whole life ( the people who know me enough will understand) . And i am willling to cover up the burdens for other people. Because i am in charge. Sometimes i am really surprised that changes take place so fast within a week. I choose to ignore because it is just useless comments and it is not going to affect me. at all. It is better to focus on more important issues and i welcome all comments. If it is logical and true, i will accept it openly.

Situation can be created just in 3 seconds, but it might take months and years to fix it.
NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

Today i went to Bugis to meet up with Hussin's band. And i would like to thank them for being my listening ear and shower me with love and concerns.I had a great time and hope that they can WOW the people with their productions. Kelvin,Hussin,Faizal are still going to be my best pal and this is not going to change.

Zack, you have been awesome. Your hugs and love hot chocalate makes me feel warm. I am looking forward to see you in Taiwan.

Michael, Thank you for trusting me. I will do my best in RC RP chapter.

Jason Tan ( drummer) ;Thank you for listening to me the whole night and i feel more secure in focusing on my studies. And i am still going to talk to the teacher about my improvement.DRUMMERS ROCK!

The day has come.

Today is the date for various IGs to set up the decorations for the booths.I reached the schoo at about 7.30am to wait for others to come. It is such a pity that i totally forget about taking $20 reciept from the driver. =_=. When others came, i paid for thier cab fee and asked Michael to claim from Dr Jim Tan or the new faci in charge. We thought of putting the stuffs in Mich's classroom. But thank goodness he has a friend who is a student council and he agreed to let us put the things in his office! I felt very grateful. XD

The module which i am taking for today will be WebMultimedia. And..the facilitator is not here yet AGAIN. I am wondering what's happening. After school we wil be setting up the booth. Pics wil be taken if we have time to play. =]

TODAY is Clement's Birthday! HAPPY BIRTdAY!

Class is over and Modern Dance is Great

Now i am at the library slacking with Amy again =] My team did the Java and we were having a great time. Because only our team did the condition. XD At first my team was very quiet and i reached class at 8.45am. Thankfully Swati( the teacher) is very patient. So this means that i have to wake up extra early tomorrow. To be honest, i dislike to reach school at 8.30am.Normally i woke up at 6.30am. But now without the 15 mins grace and have to be at school half an hour earlier. I have to wake up at 5.30am now because Azer suggested to meet at 6.30am. =] I feel that it is better for me because i wont be late. BUT BUT BUT.. i have to rest early.

I just finished with my Modern Dance open class. I realised that they have a problem with commitement also. I felt the same way when i was in my Drama Club. But i strove to be the best and i got the main role during that period. I met some of my friends there and they were lovin it!
Right now, i have decided to join Modern Dance. This is also one of my commitment. And i can slim down too. =] The training is hard, seriously. But..i love this challenge and i strive to be the best and get recognised. =]

JAVA!

I couldnt sleep till late at night. Probabaly the main reason was that i slept till 4pm on Wednesday. I was actually quite surprised about myself, and really have to admit that i am a heavy sleeper. But i stil can be able to get through the day with a few hours of sleep. =] Right now i am craving for a cup of coffee. An hour of bus trip to go, and i can be able to get my coffee if i reach school earlier. If not, i will ge it on my first break. I am thinking about my learning sesion and time management. Maybe having my lunch instead on second break wil be better. On the first break, i can be able to ask questions to my facilitator and he/she can be able to guide me. During my first year, having breaks is like a resting and relaxing time for us. However, during the second year, the stuffs that we learn is very different. And i think today i am going to face the worst difficullt module," Object Oriented Programming." The name of the subject sounds fun, but i never thought that it is actually JAVA. =_+.

Almost like 99% of the people told me that it is like "hell" to them. And of course i heard from 1% that many of the students skipped that paticular class. Well, i have not experienced it.So i cannot conclude whether is it going to be fun or not. But.. i wil try my best to love it. ( i am going to study this subject for one year anyways and probably on the third year) =_= I cant run away. And i have promised myself that no matter how hard the subject is, i am going to face it. In doubt, questions. Think of ideas, Share it. I will always put this in my head.

JIA YOU! for me, and also for the people who is willing to strive hard. Do not get tackled by lazy people. In the end, we are the one who are getting good results. XD

Hey, who cares?

Yesterday i woke up at 6.30pm( which is very late and i am suppose to get out of my house at that time). I quickly rushed to the bathroom to wash up and get changed. When i reached my living room, guess what? i forgot to take my jacket. I threw my bag on the sofa and flew up to my room again. =_=. Initially i thought that i am going to be late, but i reached Woodlands interchange at 8am. So i waited for another bus to my school and i walked very fast. ( imagine i am like a car who cut pass those slow vehicles). The escalator to w6 was filled with hundreds of people. I decided to take a rest knowing that i shall not be thinking about taking the lift. When i had reached W6 level 1, i ran up all the way to level 4, of course by using the staircase. YEAH! i have reached the class on time.

TICK TOCK TICK TOCK. After half an hour, the facilitator then came in. =_=;
My thoughts," i should have slowly walk up the stairs."
BUT..the facilitaor is very friendly and willing to help us when we are in doubt. =]
Yesterday's module is about webdesigning. And i have done my first webpage. XD



I was so excited, i sent my first webpage and my codes to HIM . To be honest, my codes were very very very messy. Then from my mistakes, i actually learn a lot of things! Webdesigning is very very cool. And i am loving it! So i would like to try out all the features and do another webpage. XD

First day of my Second Year

I woke up in the morning at 6am. And tomorrow i have to wake up at 5.30am because my friend who meet up with me was late for her class. I reached class on time. When we reached the block, the power tripped off and lift was not working. Everyone has to use the staircase. My poor friend had to walk all the way up to level 7. So we decided to meet up at 6.30am. My new class, W64L. The people there were friendly and we worked together very well. Thank God! Amy's class also getting better. Tomorrow have Red Cross meeting, about the SLA fiesta.

I treasure the times we had. It doesnt matter whether how close we are. Being like this is good.

Trip to Guang Zhou

On 19th March, my mum and i went to Guang Zhou for leisure and shopping. =] These are the memories.


Like what you say, everytime when people go on a trip, they will always post pic of this kind of scene. Because it makes me feel like the top of the world.

When i turned back, AHHH!! So many people running past me with their stalls. I stood there frozen. lol


I bought 3 bags. My mum bought 10. When we stepped into the bad store, we will always mentioned about how many bags my best friend, Ling has. =]


And i did my nails.
