Port folio

At work now

It is 3.14pm now and yes i am at my dad's office. The connection is back and i feel very thankful with the use of my modem. =] Yesterday's photo shoot is a great success and i am loving it! In the end i didnt expect myself to become exhausting. Seriously, all the clothes changing and make up were actually quite tiring. When i first stepped into the agency, Cally assisted me into the make up studio. She handed me a cleansing cream to me. After i am done with cleaning my face, the make up artist, Carol came into the studio and the photographer came along to choose the clothings for me. Intitially i am doing 3 types of photoshoot. But the make up artist mentioned that i am very suitable in events and elegance. So i took another 2 more shots. I cannot be able to mentioned how the process of the photoshoot, but overall it was very fun. I just simply love to work Carol and the photographer. I forgot what is the photographer's name. lol.

Hmm. What is my favortie photoshoot? I didnt get to see my overall pics yet and i will be posting in the blog. Stay tuned!

I never stop blogging about modelling. Why? Because it is so fun! but tiring.. Those people who mentioned that modelling job is easy, SCREW YOU! Well, my portfolio is done and hopefull i can be one of the models who can attract the client's attention.

Tonight i will be meeting Jason after my work and finally i can be able to go and visit his sister's shop.My laptop will be passed to him. Because it is attacked by a virus. So i have to bring my sick laptop to seee Dr Tan. Consultation is free. Medication is free of charge. Next time i have his address, i will post here.It will be named as "The Future IT aka Java 'clinic" HAHA! *hides*

Half an Hour more.

I couldnt wake up late today because i keep waking up in the morning as never want to be late for my first photo shoot. I woke up at 7.30am , which is the daily time i woke up. I fell asleep and wake up to make sure that I have enough time to prepare. I will be headingto Doughby Gaught in half an hour's time. My bag is packed with clothes now, making people think that i am running away from home. I am excited. Next Saturday i can be able to meet up with my band. We had our bonding session yesterday through msn and they are very interesting. One of my band members,Ding Yan can be able to play many instruments and i am looking forward to meet him. Another member will be Jeremy, who is currently studying at Temasek Poly is a electric guitar player,and he is loving his guitar. =] I AM EXCITED. and i am loving my life now. =]

Tomorrow's First Port Folio

All this while i have been blogging about MODELING! Honestly, i hope that something interesting will happen so that i can be able to share with you guys. But..have to bear with me more. It is because tomorrow i will be doing my first port folio! Have to give in my best and hopefully many many clients will select me. =] Cally asked me to bring one heels, two tops and 2 dresses. I will be wearing my top and my jeans there. Now i have a main problem. Which dress to choose? lol. Well, i have decided to bring 3 of my dresses there. I have tried them all and hopefully i can be able to take photo in all of them! I would like to pray hard that my make up must not be too thick and must blend well the colors. ( This message is to my make up artist) .

I AM EXCITED! Tomorrow photo shoot will be held at 1pm. I guess i have time for me to get to the shopping mall to get new heels. Good luck to me and myself!

Quest Model

I remember a few weeks ago Jason introduced me to another modelling agency, Quest Model. Out of interest, i registered for fun thinking that they might not be able to contact me.
BUT.. two weeks later, i got thier email which mentioned that they will confirm with me the interview time and date. ( which is awesome!) . Due to my lack of financial assistance, i found out that thier portfolio only cost arond $350, which is cheaper than my current model agency.

The portfolio consisted of 3 types of shots;two kinds of hairstyles, 3 kinds of my own outfits and two kinds of make up. =] I am excited about this and hopefully it is a free lance modelling with no contracts. This is very important because if i need to sign a contract, other free lance modelling company will not be able to hire me. =]

Today i am suppose to practice my drums at about 4pm. but my mum turned up like 3 hours late causing me to go home with no practice. But i still earn extra 3 hours of salary. XD I dont think that i am joining Imodels anymore. Bad comments are heard and experienced by my friends. Better than nothing, yea? Tomorrow i am working afternoon shift, so i am waking up early to practice my drums. This Saturday is the jamming session and i have not even learn how to play the songs which my band is going to jam. lol.Always have to be proffesional and never be lazy when comes to something which is serious. ( honestly..)

ALRIGHTS!. i am tired. Still waiting for Dulcine to be online at 11pm and send me the songs. =] updates more on Quest Models!

Shooting for Create Talent

I went for the second interview for Create Talent. It was very successful. I waited for about half an hour because two girls were before me. When i was waiting, two guys came in and they were so noisy. I think they are around 17. Both of they were hesitating whether want to join or not( without knowing that this agency is about).And they were sitting in front of me! ( very noisy and i cannot be able to tolerate) Anyways, Cally attended me and we discuss about what kinds of shootings i should do and the details. So i am going for my portfolio shooting on 18th March. Wish me Luck! The best thing is that i do not have to do make up when i am going there. I will be wearing my new sunglasses when i am on the way there. I will be informed of what kinds of things i will bring on 17th. I am excited!!!!

So, my modelling planning is done. Now for my next Goal: my Band. Dulcie has found one guitarist and bassist! (which is awesome) we are going for jamming this Saturday at Boons Studio! Hopefully we can start out and play smoothly. I didnt expect any perfection. If we can work and coordinate together, it will be a good start. =]

Lets see how i am going to progress with Create Talent and my band.

Creative Talent

The first modelling agency, Creative Talent called me back for the second interview. I still remember when i went for the first interview, the person who is in charge , Cally who is also a make-up artist took my personal particulars and photo. She showed me the projects which they have done and the models. When i am about to leave, she told me that my particulars will be sent to the various company. If i got chosen, i will be able to do my modelling. Then indeed she called me back. I am totally excited and worried. Because they might as me to do a portfolio. I have agreed to do a portfolio for IModels International and i might result in getting two port folios. Well, unless the portfolio is not expensive, i do not mind to give it a try. Anyways, both are freelance model agency, so i have the freedom to do so. =]

Today's work is good. Tomorrow i will be working till 3pm and then go for my second interview. Wish me Luck!. i will update you guys about it!

On the way there

I have been working for twleve hours throughout the day to increase my salary. Once i tried to get through 15 hours but i was dead tired the next morning as i am working in both morning and night shifts. My parents advised me to go home early so that i can be able to accompany my sisters and spend time resting. But i cannot be able to go home early. Lesser time working = lesser pay. I have to grab every opportunities so that i can be able to save up to 800bucks in two weeks.

When my decision is made, some of the sacrifices are made. For example, i have to postpone the date when Jason is going to teach me subject which i am going to cover for next year( which is very very important), my drumming practice( but i just played during the night time), and hopefully my band will be doing well when we are going to work together. Dulcie has found a guitarist and bassist. Hopefully this will work out and we can get along well together.

My sisters have been doing well in school. Ever since i have been going to work, i have been spending lesser time with them. But today i got home early, they gave me hugs and shared with me the experience they had at school. Hence, i decided to come home early to accompany them everyday. I miss those days when we get to sleep together in one room gossiping about so many things which is happening around us.

I have not been going out with my friends so much compared to the past. Hopefully they are doing great, going to trips and enojoying themselves. I guess this holiday i will not be going to Taiwan due to my parent's busy working schedule. But my mum is planning to go to Malaysia to visit my Grandmother. So i decided to go along with her. =] I miss my Grandma and would like to give respect to my late grandfather.

No worries about the Modelling. Once i get my port folio done, the agency will send my profile to various company and hopefully they will choose me. =] Good luck to myself! I think i can also pose with some cute guys. I saw some of them in the photographs and i might have a chance to work with them. ( which is AWESOME) .

@ Sentosa

Today is a long and tiring day, but not as much compared to Jeff and Jaslyn. They rode bicycle all the way from Jurong East to Sentosa. After a long duty,they still have to ride back AGAIN. The group of members in the Amazing Race was lesser then what we have expected. But so far only have two casualties. My group of first aiders always like to poke me with all those terms like , " fats, sugar, eye bags." & " ay, then later you eat too much, then cannot be model". They are just kidding but they can also help me to look out for the food which i cannot eat.

Mich having a high class meal * sitted on the floor with about ten chopsticks*. In the end we use the remaining chopsticks to play game.

We spent the whole day cycling around the whole Sentosa and took the tram to Palawan Beach. Why/ it is because i always request crossing the bridge. You know.. i have never been there before in my whole life. Because of my enthusiasm, they will be the sweetest to accompany me. =] But in the end, when we were on the way back, everyone was tired. I kept putting on my lip balm because it felt so icy on my lips. Jeff would start to stare at me again. They kept telling me that my lips will crack or dropped if i apply too much. (i cannot say anything because i do not have so much energy to fight back). BUT. i know that whatever they say is not true. Like for example: When we were on the way to Subway, Jeff told me that the sauce is very fattening because of the oil content. However, in the end, when we went to check, I pointed to Jeff," HEY, sweet onion sauce shows no fats!!" He replied," haha. whatever." I think they just want to scare me with all those nice food because nice food can be very fattening.

Nothing much to do.

I just came back from work. Woke up at 7am. Jason gave me a morning call and i just rejected his call. But i still wake up and save his phone bill. My sleepy voice is not beautiful at all. Today work till 4pm and the business have become better. Tonight my whole family will be attending my parent's company dinner at the restaurant near the shop. I could still remember that that waitress working there was being too mean because she did not know who i am from.

Story began like this:
I am suppose to bring the goods to the restaurant lady boss as she ordered some stuff from us. I came in to the restaurant.

Waitress give me a look which is as if like i am a somebody who came in for fun.
Me: I would like to find the boss. I have to pass her something.
Waitress: Oh. The boss is not here.
In my thoughts, you think that i am an idiot?
The lady boss came out from the kitchen and i passed her the stuff.
That bloody waitress just kept quiet.

Tonight she will be counted lucky if she did not work here. But from my observation, she must be working here full time. So she is going to have a hard time serving me and my cousins. She thinks that she is the leader of the restaurant? c'mon, no matter what, you still have to serve with an positive attitude. Do you even have any idea that you will be fired if you cross my line? The lady boss is a good friend of mine and i didnt even speak a word to her about you!.

Oh my Gosh, i dont know what will be happening at the restaurant. if she stared at me or give me some negative attitude, she will be out of job tonight.

Thats all i am going to say. =]

New Experience.

I have decided to Join IModels International. I remembered that i have been approached by a guy, named Terrence one year ago and now i am back to this model agency. The first thing i have to do is to raise 600bucks. It is because i have chosen a portfolio of 5 types of photo shoot. I remember some of them are Casual, Sporty, elegance, bridal, etc. The guy, Jayden who is in charge in recruiting me has the same birthday as me. Ay. Good good. Then i can have another partner to celebrate with me. =]

This is how i am going to earn my bucks!
From Tuesday, which is 4th March, I will be working for around 12 hours each day.
1 hour - $5
12 hours - $60
* I am given till 16th March*
10 days - $600
Plus my extra money - $800++

Then i am DONE!!

I have called my Mum and informed her about my planning and she agreed to let me work in the night shifts also. =] Thank you guys for supporting me too! =]

Wedding dinner

I had the modeling interview today at Create Talent. It went well and the manager submitted my photo to the various company. Why? Because they are in charge of choosing the models.The job scope varies from bridal shots to advertisement. They have a couple of projects going on and i really hope that i will get selected. The manager told me that she will call me next week if i am selected. Well, now have to wait for my luck. =]

My dressing code changed for the wedding dinner. Immediately after the interview, i took a cab to Orchard Parade Hotel to get changed and meet my beloved cousins. The wedding dinner went well and we had a lot of laughter. I am enjoying the food, especially the rich shark fins.
